Makyra Tramble, a standout player for head coach Kelsi Musick at Southwestern Oklahoma State and Oral Roberts, will serve as the director of player development.
Tramble spent the first three seasons of her playing career at Southwestern Oklahoma State under Musick, where she was named the DII National Player of the Year in 2022 and was a three-time All-American and all-GAC player. The 5-10 guard from Shawnee, Oklahoma, transferred to Oklahoma State for her senior season and made 10 appearances for the Cowgirls before suffering a season-ending injury. Tramble rejoined Musick at ORU as a graduate student for two more seasons. In her final season, 2024-25, she started all 33 games, averaged 10.6 points, 3.2 assists and 3.9 rebounds and led the Summit League with 2.0 steals per game.
“I am incredibly blessed and honored to have the opportunity to reunite with Coach Musick and work alongside her once again,” Tramble said. “She has had a tremendous impact on me, not only as a player but also as a person and aspiring coach. Her leadership, passion and commitment to developing those around her have been a constant source of inspiration. Having firsthand experience with her coaching philosophy and vision, I am excited to help contribute to what she is building here at Arkansas. The opportunity to support her and be a part of the Razorback program is truly special, and I am grateful for the chance to continue learning and growing under her leadership.
Tramble began her player development duties on June 16, 2026.
