Meredith Pettigrew joined the Razorback Foundation as the Director of Strategic Communications and Stewardship in March 2020. Pettigrew is charged with the overall development and execution of strategic communications across all traditional and digital platforms for the Foundation, as well as stewardship.
Prior to returning home to the University of Arkansas campus, Pettigrew spent almost 12 years at Mitchell Communications in Fayetteville. There she provided strategic communications and public relations support for companies like Procter & Gamble, Walmart and Arkansas Children’s Northwest. She managed national product launches, national media integrations, large-scale events and celebrity and professional athlete engagements. While as an undergrad at the U of A, Meredith was a Sports Information Student Assistant, helping manage media and communications for football, men’s basketball, baseball and track. One of her favorite Razorback memories is working the score board at Baum-Walker Stadium when Brady Toops hit a grand slam in the 9th inning with two outs in 2004 Regional game to advance the Hogs to the Super Regional.
Pettigrew, a native Arkansan, holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations and advertising from the University of Arkansas, receiving her degree in 2007. She and her husband, Ryan, have two sons, Harlan and Gerritt and currently live in Prairie Grove.
