Women's Golf Announces 2026-27 Schedule

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas women’s golf head coach Shauna Taylor has announced the Razorbacks’ schedule for the 2026-27 season.

“I couldn’t be more excited about this year’s schedule,” Taylor said. “It’s a schedule our team has earned. Our success last season opened the door to invitations to elite events like the East Lake Cup and the Nanea Cup in Hawaii, and those opportunities are a testament to the hard work of our student-athletes and staff.” 

The Hogs open the season on September 7 with a return to the familiar Cougar Classic, hosted by the College of Charleston, for the first time since 2021. Arkansas has played in the event five times during Taylor’s tenure.

The five-time Blessings Collegiate Invitational champion Razorbacks will host the event for the xth straight year from October 3-5 at Blessings Golf Club. Arkansas’ next two tournaments will be played for the first time, the Haskins Women’s Intercollegiate (Oct. 12-13) in Columbus, Georgia, and The Fin (Oct. 19-21) in Fairfield, Texas.

“One of the highlights every year is hosting the Blessings Collegiate in Fayetteville,” Taylor said. “We hope Razorback fans will come out and enjoy the chance to watch our team compete at home against many of the top programs in the country. There’s nothing like playing in front of our fans, and their support means a great deal to our team.”

The Hogs will close out the fall portion of their schedule with their first trip in program history to the prestigious East Lake Cup at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. The East Lake Cup hosts the four NCAA semifinalists from the previous season in a combined stroke play and match play format.

Arkansas will open the spring schedule with another trip to the Chevron Collegiate in Houston from February 22-24 and then return to South Carolina for the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate (March 1-3) on Hilton Head Island.

From March 11-14, the Razorbacks will play in the first-of-its-kind combined LPGA/college event on Golf Channel with the Nanea Cup in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Following the Nanea Cup, they close the regular season at the Clemson Invitational (March 21-23), where senior Maria Jose Marin will look to defend her individual title from 2026.

The postseason schedule gets underway at the SEC Championship from April 16-20 at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida. The NCAA Regionals will be from May 10-12 at various collegiate golf courses and the NCAA Championship returns to Omni La Costa for the fourth straight year from May 21-26.

The Hogs will play in five televised events with four on Golf Channel (East Lake Cup, Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, Nanea Cup and NCAA Championship) and one on SEC Network (SEC Championship).

Arkansas is returning top collegiate golfer Maria Jose Marin for her final season alongside top 70 players Sara Brentcheneff and Abbey Schutte. Earlier in the offseason, the Hogs signed Ebba Liljeberg, the top player in the transfer portal and a top 70 player from Missouri.
