FAYETTEVILLE – The fifth-ranked Arkansas men’s golf program will enter the 2026 SEC Men’s Golf Championships, with stroke play set for April 22-24 and match play set for April 25-26, as the #4 seed.

The 2026 SEC Championships will be played in St. Simons Island, Ga., at Sea Island Golf Club – Seaside Course (70), for the 17th consecutive year and 25th overall.

Overall, the field of 16 at the SEC Championships features 11 of the nation’s top 25, including #1 Auburn, #3 Texas, #4 Florida, #5 Arkansas, #8 LSU, #11 Vanderbilt, #12 Ole Miss, #14 Tennessee, #16 Oklahoma, #17 Alabama and #25 Georgia. The rest of the field includes #30 Texas A&M, #39 South Carolina, #41 Mississippi State, #54 Kentucky and #89 Missouri.

Individually, the Championships have 16 of the nation’s top 40 individuals, including #1 Jackson Koivun (Auburn) as well as Razorbacks Gerardo Gomez (#25) and Erich Fortlage (#37).

The 16-team Valspar Collegiate had 13 of the nation’s top 35 teams and Arkansas was 4th
Gerardo Gomez has a scoring average of 69.87, compared to his fall average of 72.67 (+2.80 improvement)
