Elementary Day Sign Ups Open For November 8 Game

Arkansas women’s basketball head coach Mike Neighbors invites area schools to Elementary Day set for Friday, Nov. 8. This event gives elementary schools the opportunity to check out the Hogs, as the women’s team is set to face Texas A&M Commerce for a 10:30 a.m. tipoff at Bud Walton Arena.

Last season’s Elementary Day in the 82-79 win over Murray State brought in an 11,026-person crowd, the fourth-best in school history and the best crowd for an Elementary Day.

Elementary Day provides free admission for all elementary school students, teachers, faculty, staff and chaperones. Area schools and homeschool students can use the field trip to encourage and offer a healthy lifestyle through physical activity and provide students with the chance to visit the University of Arkansas and see a women’s basketball game. Elementary schools in attendance will be acknowledged during the game and a fun halftime event will take place.
