Hogs Set to Compete in Seventh Consecutive Ranked SEC Series at No. 7 LSU

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 13 Arkansas Razorbacks kick off a four-game road swing at No. 7 LSU on April 26-28 at Tiger Park in Baton Rouge, La. Friday’s series opener is set for 6 p.m. CT on SEC Network+ with Lyn Rollins and Yvette Girouard on the call.

All three games will be streamed on SEC Network+. Game two will start at 4 p.m. Saturday on SEC Network+. Sunday’s series finale will commence at 1 p.m. on SEC Network+. The Hogs have won 14 of their last 15 SEC road series, dating back to 2020.

  • Senior third baseman and Beebe, Ark., native Hannah Gammill has etched her name inside the program’s record book. With 44 career home runs (11 so far in 2024), Gammill sits fourth all-time in program history in career home runs.
  • Gammill became the youngest player in program history to earn First Team NFCA All-America honors when she received the accolate in 2022.
  • Gammill’s offensive production has skyrocketed during conference-only play this season as she leads the team in RBI with 16 and ranks second in home runs with five.
  • Gammill ranks second on the team in home runs this season with 11.
  • She tied her career highs in home runs (2) and RBI (5) vs. No. 3 Georgia on April 1 in Athens.
  • Ranks second on the team in two-out RBI with 16.

  • Arkansas RHP Morgan Leinstock hauled in her second SEC Pitcher of the Week honor this season, the league office announced Tuesday. Leinstock (12-2) last received the accolade on April 9.
  • It’s the third week in a row that a Razorback hurler has been named SEC Pitcher of the Week. LHP Robyn Herron earned the award on April 16.
  • Leinstock commanded in the circle in No. 14 Arkansas’ series win vs. No. 15 Alabama – the Hogs’ fourth straight ranked SEC series victory. The Scottsdale product went 2-0 in the circle in three appearances vs. the Crimson Tide. In 14.0 IP, Leinstock did not give up an earned run, tossed two complete-game shutouts, posted a 0.000 ERA, fanned 11 and limited opponents to just eight hits.
  • In Friday’s series opener, Leinstock pitched a four-hit, complete game shutout to power Arkansas, marking her second complete game shutout of the season. The redshirt senior surrendered just four hits across a season-high nine frames while striking out six and working around a walk. Leinstock did not give up an extra-base hit against the Crimson Tide.
  • In Sunday’s rubber game, Leinstock twirled her second complete game gem of the weekend after holding the Tide to three hits across five scoreless innings. Leinstock racked up five strikeouts and only walked one batter.
