Marin Makes Third Appearance on ANNIKA Award Postseason Watch List
COLUMBUS, Ga. – Arkansas’ Maria Jose Marin was named to the ANNIKA Award Postseason Watch List, the organization announced Wednesday.
Marin was one of 15 golfers named to the list that featured five from the SEC. The Cali, Colombia native has finished in the top 10 in nine tournaments this season, including two runner-up outings and a win at the Clemson Invitational in March.
Marin is ranked No. 2 in the Scoreboard by Clippd national player rankings and spent much of her junior season in the top spot. She leads the Razorbacks with a 69.93 stroke average and recently became the program’s record holder in career rounds at or below par with 66.
Earlier this month, Marin won the 2026 Augusta National Women’s Amateur with a record-low score of 14-under par among 75 of the world’s top female amateur golfers. The victory secured exemptions for Marin to the 2026 U.S. Women’s Open, the 2026 Evian Championship and the 2026 Women’s Open. Marin was the first Razorback, first SEC golfer and first South American to win ANWA.
Arkansas is ranked sixth in the country and will learn its postseason details later today when the NCAA Championship field is revealed on Golf Channel at 3 p.m. Regionals, set at six college golf courses around the country, will take place May 11-13. The top five finishers at each regional will advance to the NCAA Championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, from May 22-27.
