Game 1
Defensive miscues and offensive struggles plagued Arkansas in game one as the Rebels picked up the 6-0 win. The Razorbacks were outhit at an 8-3 clip and committed two errors.

RHP Morgan Leinstock (13-3) made the start and surrendered four runs (two earned) on six hits across 5.0 innings pitched. Leinstock struck out six and worked around a pair of walks. Ole Miss grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first after the Rebels grounded into a double play at second base that allowed a runner from third to score. Leinstock and the defense kept the Rebels off the board in the second through fifth innings. A solo home run and a throwing error allowed two more Rebels to score in the sixth.

LHP Robyn Herron replaced Leinstock in the circle and limited the damage to one more unearned run for a 4-0 Ole Miss advantage in the sixth. LHP Hannah Camenzind threw an inning of relief in the seventh, allowing two runs on two hits after the Rebels swatted a two-run bomb for a 6-0 lead.

Reagan Johnson, Cylie Halvorson and Rylee Cloud accounted for a base hit each.

Game 2
The Razorbacks responded in game two to capture a 12-2 (5 inn.) win and even the series. The triumph was Arkansas’ ninth run-rule victory on the season.

Combining for 12 runs on nine hits, the Hogs scored early and often as they put up a nine-spot in the first and pieced together a three-run second. Arkansas sent 13 to the plate in the first inning.

In her first start of the series and second appearance in as many games, LHP Robyn Herron went the distance as she twirled a two-hit gem with six punchouts across five frames. Both hits given up were solo home runs. The Tampa native did not record a walk.

Designated player Rylee Cloud starred offensively as she hit her first career home run – a three-run shot – and also recorded a career-high three RBI. Reagan Johnson had a big game at the plate as she finished 2-for-2 with two RBI, two runs scored and a walk. Bri Ellis compiled two RBI after bashing a two-run single through the left side in the first. Nia Carter went 2-for-3, scoring two runs and driving in one run on a double down the right field line in the first.

Arkansas loaded the bases in the first after walks were issued to Johnson and Ellis while Carter filed her first base knock of the inning. Hannah Gammill broke the game open with a one-out, bases-loaded single to center that plated Johnson for a 1-0 advantage. Kennedy Miller knocked in the next run on her sacrifice fly to deep left field for a 2-0 lead. Hannah Camenzind chipped in on the action and cracked an RBI single through the right side to score Ellis from second. Then, Cloud rocketed her first career homer – a three-run bomb – to increase the lead to 6-0. Arkansas didn’t let up as Spencer Prigge followed with a walk and Johnson smacked a base hit to center field, pushing Prigge into scoring position at second. Coming up with her second hit of the inning, Carter ripped a double down the right field line to plate Prigge. Ellis was responsible for the Hogs’ final two runs of the inning after singling through the left side for a 9-0 lead.

The Razorbacks scored all three runs in the second with two away. Camenzind and Cloud drew back-to-back walks and then Prigge singled to left field to load the bases. Camenzind scored from third on a wild pitch to extend the lead to 10-1. Johnson followed suit with a two-RBI single to center to push the lead to 12-1.
