Highlighted by senior first baseman Bri Ellis’ first-team selection, eight Razorbacks earned NFCA All-Central Region honors, the organization announced Thursday afternoon.

Arkansas senior first baseman Bri Ellis has been selected as a Top 10 Finalist for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award, the organization announced Wednesday.

For the sixth time in program history and fifth year in a row, the Arkansas softball team and Bogle Park will host an NCAA Tournament Regional on May 16-18. The No. 6/7 ranked Razorbacks drew the No. 4 overall national seed, as announced Sunday evening. Oklahoma State, Indiana and Saint Louis will join Arkansas at the Fayetteville Regional.

The No. 6/7 Arkansas Razorbacks fell in their SEC semifinal matchup to No. 2 Oklahoma as a walk-off three-run home run from Sooner shortstop Gabbie Garcia provided the game’s final runs in an 8-6 loss to the Sooners on Friday afternoon during day four of the SEC Tournament at Jack Turner Stadium.

Arkansas senior first baseman Bri Ellis was named the 2025 SEC Player of the Year as four Razorbacks collected All-SEC honors, the league announced Friday morning.
