James Brown joined the Razorbacks in August 2008 as the athletics department’s first building services manager.
A native of California, Brown attended McKinleyville High School in McKinleyville, Calif. He relocated to Arkansas and graduated from John Brown University with a bachelor’s degree in organizational management.
Prior to joining the Razorbacks, Brown worked in Texarkana, Ark., for the Department of Corrections followed by working as a property manager at two Texarkana banks.
Brown makes his home in Springdale Ark., with his wife, Jaye, and step-daughter, Kadra Van Slyke.
