Toni Bahn

Toni Bahn is in her tenth year working at her Alma Mater. She currently serves as the Director of Special Events.  In this role she creates, plans, and coordinates all special events for the Razorbacks. This includes securing sponsorships, leading committees, working with catering, guest lists, speakers, programs, and the actual event from set up to tear down.  She has worked with events such as the year-long 100-Years of the Razorback events, Tailgate at the Top, Signing Day Arkansas, Rockin’ with the Razorbacks, Razor Rock, the Arkansas Razorback Football Kickoff Luncheon, and various other departmental, donor and fan events. She was also the lead in planning the National Championship Reunion for the 1994 Arkansas Razorback Basketball team in 2009, and served on the committee for the Retirement Gala honoring legendary Track Coach John McDonnell.

Bahn also serves on the Game Management team. In this capacity, she serves as the Visiting Team Liaison for Football and works closely with the credential issuance and distribution.   During the football stadium expansion, she served on many committees including furniture choices, pre-game activities, policies and procedures and uniforms.

Her other duties include serving as the contact for the Tusk Mascot program, and she also serves as the coordinator for the National Anthem singers for Razorback events.

During her time at the University she served as the coordinator of Arkansas’ football and men’s basketball coaches shows. and as the assistant Walton Arena manager. Before joining the staff on a full-time basis, she worked the previous year-and-a-half in the athletic department as a graduate assistant.

As assistant manager she served as the primary on-site contact person for the arena and was responsible for scheduling all arena events and activities in coordination with the athletic department and outside users. Her guest relations responsibilities included responding to the needs of the 47 basketball suite holders, season ticket holders, campus and community usage requests and providing guided tours for local and regional groups.

In addition to her arena duties, the Jacksonville, Ark., native served for 9 seasons as the coordinator for Men’s Basketball and Football Head Coaches shows. As coordinator, she secured and maintained sponsorships, oversaw the production of advertising, and planned and supervised hospitality events and travel throughout the seasons.

Bahn earned her bachelor’s in communication and political science from Arkansas in 2000. She earned a master’s degree in communications from Arkansas in 2008.

She was nominated and selected to serve in the Leadership Program 2010-2011 Class XXIV, by the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce. She, along with 26 other nominees participated in the program from September 2010 until May 2011.

Bahn is also actively involved serving as an Advisor for Chi Omega Fraternity, the Miss University of Arkansas Scholarship Pageant, and in fundraising for Children’s Miracle Network and Make-A-Wish.  She is in her 6th year serving as the Secretary of the Farmington City Planning Commission.  She was selected as one of four National Volunteers of the Year for the Miss America system in 2007, and as Director of the Year for the Miss Arkansas Scholarship system in 2010.  Bahn also serves as the United Way representative for the Athletic Department. And she is on the Board for Pel’s Pals (Coach John Pelphrey’s charitable foundation).

She is married to Chris Bahn, the Northwest Arkansas editor for the ArkansasSports360.com magazine and web site, and a graduate of Arkansas State University.

Born, April 27, 1978, Bahn, a former Razorback Belle, was an honor graduate of Jacksonville High School.
