14 NCAA Tournament Teams, 3 College World Series Participants Highlight Hogs’ 2027 Schedule
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – 56 regular-season games, including 10 Southeastern Conference series and road trips to three professional baseball stadiums, are on tap for 25th-year head coach Dave Van Horn and the Razorbacks in 2027.
Arkansas, the nation’s winningest team since 2017 with 424 overall victories, will face 14 teams that advanced to the 2026 NCAA Tournament and three, including Alabama, Ole Miss and Texas, that participated in last year’s College World Series. The Hogs finished 41-22 overall and 17-13 in SEC play in 2026 to clinch their ninth consecutive 40-win campaign.
Van Horn’s Razorbacks are the only SEC team, and one of two teams in the country, to win 40 or more in each of the last nine full seasons: 2017 (45), 2018 (48), 2019 (46), 2021 (50), 2022 (46), 2023 (43), 2024 (44), 2025 (50) and 2026 (41).
Arkansas is scheduled to begin the 2027 campaign inside the friendly confines of Baum-Walker Stadium, welcoming in Butler (Feb. 19-21) for a three-game series on opening weekend. Following a midweek matchup, the first of the season, at home against South Dakota State (Feb. 23), the Razorbacks embark on their sixth trip in seven seasons to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, for the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series (Feb. 26-28). Arkansas will take on Iowa, Oregon and Oregon State during the three-day tournament at the home of the Texas Rangers, where the Hogs are 12-4 all-time.
Arkansas will play a fourth game at Globe Life Field against Tarleton State (March 1) before returning to Fayetteville for a season-long nine-game homestand. The Razorbacks host Santa Clara (March 5-8), Oral Roberts (March 10), Sacred Heart (March 12-14) and Eastern Illinois (March 16) before opening SEC action on the road at Ole Miss (March 19-21).
The non-conference portion of the Hogs’ schedule also includes home midweek contests against Arkansas State (March 30-31), UCA (April 6), Little Rock (April 13-14), Missouri State (April 27) and Grambling (May 4). Arkansas travels to two professional baseball stadiums for midweek matchups, facing Missouri State (March 23) at Hammons Field, home of the St. Louis Cardinals’ Double-A affiliate Springfield Cardinals, in Springfield, Mo., and Memphis (April 20) at CHI St. Vincent Field at Dickey-Stephens Park, home of the Seattle Mariners’ Double-A affiliate Arkansas Travelers, in North Little Rock.
Arkansas’ loaded SEC slate features home series against Alabama (March 25-27), LSU (April 9-11), Missouri (April 16-18), Auburn (April 30-May 2) and Kentucky (May 14-16). The Razorbacks will go on the road in conference play to square off against Ole Miss, Tennessee (April 2-4), Texas (April 23-25), Texas A&M (May 7-9) and Mississippi State (May 20-22).
The SEC Tournament (May 25-30) returns to Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Ala., for the 29th season in a row and 31st time in history. A nation-best 12 SEC teams, including Arkansas, earned bids to last year’s NCAA Tournament.
All games are subject to change for television, including the move of some conference series to begin on Thursdays. The full schedule of Thursday-Friday-Saturday series will be determined and announced at a later date.
