Razorbacks Ranked in SwimSwam Top-25
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Razorbacks were recognized for their achievements in the pool this season by SwimSwam News for cracking their top-25 power rankings in the number 25 spot.
The Hogs have seen a significant amount of success in dual meets against talented opponents, such as LSU who they defeated 151-149 earlier in the season. Head swimming coach Neil Harper voiced his excitement at the long-overdue recognition: “I think the analysts at SwimSwam have watched out program perform well at SECs and NCAAs year after year. The entire month of January and winter dual meet schedule, we train very hard and don’t rest or suit up for dual meets.” The program has worked very hard to improve upon their successes earlier in the season. They have to balance working towards SECs and NCAAs with athletes’ training for their respective Olympic qualifiers in March and April, with some coming before April’s NCAA Championships. Coach Harper reflected that he is “excited that our past dedication and successes are being considered and we plan to perform well in the next two months.
The Razorbacks are three weeks away from the SEC Championships.
