Razorbacks Compete Well in Day 2 of NCAA Zone Diving
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – In day two of the NCAA Zone Diving Championships, the Razorbacks had a solid day on the boards with sophomore Malea Martinez stealing the show, posting a 15th-place finish in the prelim with a score of 302.00.
In the prelim, freshmen Isa Perreira and Lauren French followed up Martinez’s stellar performance with solid performances of their own, posting scores of 271.20 and 266.55. Head diving coach Abel Sanchez commented that today was “another good day for our ladies,” with Malea Martinez making finals and Perreira and French diving well. Martinez rounded out the Final with an 18th– place finish in the final, scoring 562.85.
The Hogs are back in action tomorrow morning for platform prelims followed immediately by the final.
