FAYETTEVILLE – The Razorback men’s golf program’s 2025-26 regular season will come to a close as #5 Arkansas plays in the West Virginia Mountaineer Invitational, played at the par-72 Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, W.Va., on April 13-14.

Gerardo Gomez has been Arkansas’s hottest golfer in the spring. He has four top-15 finishes, including a T-4th finish at the Cabo Collegiate and a T-3rd finish at the Valspar Collegiate. He is tied with Fortlage by having the team’s low round seven times this season and he is second on the team with a 71.05 scoring average.
Thomas Curry has also had an impressive spring. After playing the Watersound Invitational and tying for seventh, Curry has a 10th-place finish at Cabo and a T-6th finish at the All-American Intercollegiate. John Daly II has a 71.33 season scoring average with three top-5 finishes as he has fired a 68 once in four of his five spring events.
Cam Smith, who has a 71.44 season scoring average, rounds out the Razorback starting five while Niilo Maki-Petaja, who has a 71.71 season scoring average, will play as an individual.
The Razorbacks will take two weeks off after the Mountaineer Invitational before heading to the SEC Championships, played April 22-26 in St. Simons Island, Ga., at the Sea Island Golf Club – Seaside Course.
