Arkansas Among Nation’s Best In Attendance

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The NCAA has released its Division I men’s basketball figures with Arkansas once again finishing inside the top 15, ranking No. 12 in the nation in average attendance inside Bud Walton Arena.

Arkansas packed 274,446 fans into The Basketball Palace of Mid-America, averaging 15,247 fans per contest to rank second in the Southeastern Conference and 12th in the country. The Razorbacks had a season-best crowd of 20,355 for the conference opener against Florida, and 18,247 fans saw the regular season finale on Senior Day against Georgia.

In home, road and neutral games, Arkansas ranked No. 8 in the country for attendance, as 506,604 fans watched the Razorbacks play in person, including over 28,000 during in the NCAA Tournament in Greenville, South Carolina. Arkansas had over 19,000 fans in attendance five different times during the year, including 19,953 in Bridgestone Arena for the SEC Tournament championship game in Nashville, Tenn.

Arkansas has finished in the top 12 in NCAA attendance for three straight years, and has posted a top 30 national attendance mark for 24 consecutive seasons since Bud Walton Arena opened during the 1994 National Championship run.
