Arkansas Hosting Second Pro Tournament of the Fall
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Razorback men’s tennis team is back in Fayetteville this week to hold its second ITF World Tour tournament presented by Legacy Bank of the fall 2021 season. The Billingsley Tennis Center hosted an equal-caliber tournament in September, where Arkansas seniors Alex Reco and Nico Rousset prevailed as doubles champions. Former Razorbacks Mike Redlicki and Oscar Mesquida are returning to Fayetteville to compete in the 15K event.
Redlicki finished his senior season at Arkansas ranked No. 12 in the nation with a 28-11 record. Mesquida played at the No. 1 singles position for Arkansas in 2019 and was ranked No. 66 in the country. Both men are set to make a run at the ITF tournament at their previous home courts.
The tournament will once again feature some of the top players around the world, including the No. 1 junior player on the professional tour, and several players inside the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) top 1000.
All 12 Razorbacks are included on the acceptance list for the tournament.
Matches will begin Monday morning with the tournament running through Sunday afternoon. Fans can live stream matches on PlaySight.
