Arkansas Inks 19 in Perfect Game's Fourth-Ranked 2025 Signing Class
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Head coach Dave Van Horn and the Hogs announced today their 2025 signing class, inking 16 high school standouts and three junior college products to National Letters of Intent.
Arkansas’ 2025 signing class is No. 4 in Perfect Game’s recruiting rankings, marking the 10th consecutive year that Van Horn, assisted by Nate Thompson, Matt Hobbs and Bobby Wernes, has brought in a top 20 class in the publication’s annual recruiting rankings.
“Coach Thompson, Coach Hobbs and Coach Wernes spend countless hours evaluating talent and identifying great athletes who fit our program, desire to get better, want to develop and love to work hard,” Van Horn said. “This year’s signing class once again checks all those boxes. We’re excited to get this group to Baum-Walker Stadium and get to work.”
Arkansas’ 19-man signing class features eight pitchers, including seven right-handers and one left-hander, seven position players, including five infielders, one outfielder and one utility player, and four two-way players. This year’s group of Razorback signees hails from eight different states: Arkansas (8), Texas (4), Missouri (2), California (1), Georgia (1), Louisiana (1), Oklahoma (1) and Tennessee (1).
“Congratulations to all the members of our 2025 signing class,” Thompson, Arkansas’ recruiting coordinator, said. “We, as a staff, are fired up about each one of these young men choosing to make Arkansas their home. This is a talented and ultra-competitive group of athletes that is hardworking and passionate about winning and development.
“They’ve performed at a high level both on the mound and at the plate on the national stage, and they’re hungry to make an immediate impact upon arrival in Fayetteville. We can’t wait to see them in Razorback uniforms competing under the bright lights of Baum-Walker Stadium soon!”
