Arkansas-Kentucky Series Opener Postponed

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Due the heavy rains in the Lexington-area Thursday, Arkansas baseball’s series opener with No. 12 Kentucky has been postponed.

First pitch was scheduled for 6 p.m. CDT, but heavy rain moved into the area just as the Razorbacks were finishing batting practice. Arkansas (22-15, 4-11) and Kentucky (23-13, 9-6) will reconvene on Friday for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch at Cliff Hagan Stadium. The game will still be broadcast on ESPNU.

With the postponement, Thursday’s scheduled game has been moved to Saturday and tentatively will be part of a double-header starting at 12 p.m. Both games of the doubleheader will be broadcast on SEC Network+.

All games this weekend can also be heard on the Razorback Sports Network from IMG with Phil Elson calling the action.
