Arkansas No. 7 in USA Today/NFCA Top 25

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – With the season-opener just 10 days away, the Razorbacks are ranked inside another preseason Top 10, checking in at No. 7 in the USA Today/NFCA Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll.

Arkansas is one of nine Southeastern Conference schools ranked in the poll’s Top 25 joining No. 4 Florida, No. 9 Alabama, No. 13 Tennessee, No. 15 Georgia, No. 20 Kentucky, No. 23 Mississippi State and No. 25 LSU. In addition to the Hogs’ tough conference schedule, Coach Courtney Deifel’s squad will play No. 5 Florida State and No. 16 Duke on Feb. 17-19 at the TaxAct Clearwater Invitational. Arkansas welcomes No. 12 Arizona for three games on Feb. 23-24 at the Razorback Invitational inside Bogle Park.

Opening day for the Razorbacks is set for Friday, Feb. 10 against Weber State and UNLV in Las Vegas at the Rebel Kickoff. Arkansas will play a doubleheader against Weber State and Southern Utah on Feb. 11 and a single game against Baylor on Feb. 12 to conclude the weekend. The Hogs then travel to the TaxAct Clearwater Invitational on Feb. 17-19. Arkansas to face off with No. 5 Florida State, No. 16 Duke, Indiana, Louisiana and Nebraska in Clearwater, Fla. Bogle Park opens for its 15th season on Feb. 23 to see the Hogs take on No. 12 Arizona in a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m.
