Arkansas on the Road to Continue SEC Play

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- The Arkansas volleyball team will continue SEC play with a pair of matches on the road at No. 19 Kentucky and Tennessee this weekend. Both matches will be streamed on the SEC Network+.

All-Time Series vs Kentucky
Friday’s match against the Wildcats will be the 40th meeting between the two teams, with Kentucky holding a 24-15 advantage. Arkansas has dropped the last seven matches against Kentucky, with the team’s last victory coming in 2012.

All-Time Series vs Tennessee
Sunday’s match against the Vols will be the 40th meeting between the two teams. The Hogs hold a thin 20-19 advantage in the series history, winning the last two matches against the Vols.

Last Time Out
The Razorbacks opened their conference slate with a 3-0 loss at Texas A&M and a 3-1 home loss vs Missouri. Hailey Dirrigl had a team-high 24 kills, averaging 3.42 kills/set. Gracie Ryan and Rachel Rippee both saw 20+ assists, with Rippee recording 25 and Ryan recording 28. Senior Okiana Valle had 34 combined digs in the two matches, averaging 4.86 digs/set.

Milestone Watch
Senior libero Okiana Valle set a career milestone against Missouri, eclipsing 1,500 career digs. The Barceloneta, Puerto Rico native is now 151 digs away from recording the second-most in program history. Junior Rachel Rippee is nine assists away from fifth-most in program history with 2,732. She has made 428 assists this season for a team-leading 10.70 assists per set.
