Arkansas Seeks Seventh-Straight SEC Cross Country Title
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The unanimous No. 1 Arkansas women’s cross country team will take the course in Lexington, Ky. in pursuit of the programs’ 20th SEC Cross Country title as the Razorbacks head to the Conference Championships hosted by the University of Kentucky.
For the first time, the SEC Cross Country Championship will be televised live on the SEC Network. Coverage of the SEC Cross Country Championships begins at 8 a.m. CT on the SEC Network. Official results will be available at PTTiming.com.
Arkansas is the top-ranked team in the nation for the second week in a row after earned all 11 first-place votes. The Razorbacks proved why they are the unanimous No. 1 team in the country after earning their third first-place finish this season a team title at the Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invite, beating out No. 2 Stanford 62-98.
The Razorbacks will be led by Senior Taylor Werner who has finished as Arkansas’ No.1 in every meet she’s competed in this season.
The SEC women’s 6K race will begin at 10:05 a.m. CT Friday morning.
