Scouting Arkansas
Arkansas enters the week 2-1 after a hard-fought loss at Nebraska (3-0) on Thursday. Malica Monk and Devin Cosper have handled the lion’s share of the scoring with 117 or Arkansas’ 218 points this year.

Monk’s numbers have been nothing short of remarkable. The junior from North Little Rock, Arkansas, averages 20.3 points per game and 4.7 rebounds per game. She has played 107 of a possible 120 minutes and leads the team with 16 assists and nine steals. The point guard and primary ball handler has only four turnovers in that span.

Arkansas is also getting great play from graduate student Cosper. The Coffeyville Kansas, native has posted several career-bests in the first three games including recording her first Razorback double-double in the season opener. Freshman Taylah Thomas and sophomore Kiara Williams each grabbed 11 rebounds on the road at Nebraska as Arkansas’ rebounding continues to improve.

Scouting Oral Roberts
ORU is 1-2 on the year after opening with losses to TCU and Texas-Arlington, a team Arkansas faces late this year. The Golden Eagles picked up a win over Division II Oklahoma Panhandle in recent action. ORU has three players averaging double figures but have been outrebounded and have committed more turnovers than their Division I opponents this season.
