Arkansas Volleyball Signs Four on Wednesday
Arkansas volleyball has bolstered its roster with four signees set to head to The Hill next fall: Madi Benne, Elsie Law, Maggie McCaroll and Paisley Pavliska.
Madi Benne | L | 5’8 | Lee’s Summit, Mo.
Madi Benne is a 5’8 libero out of Lee’s Summit, Mo. Located in a volleyball hotbed, her club team – MAVS KC – has consistently produced top talent, including former Arkansas All-SEC libero and current GA Courtney Jackson. In 2024, her MAVS 816 team won a national championship, in which Benne was named Tournament MVP and All-Tournament Team. Benne has been a mainstay on the Lee’s Summit North High School team over the past four years, playing both setter and libero. In 2025, she led the Broncos to the state championship match, after being named First Team All-District and First Team All-Conference. During her 2023 high school season, Benne was First Team All-District and First Team All-Conference and set a school record with 1,082 assists in a single season. She was recently named an AVCA Best and Brightest First Team honoree for maintaining excellence in the classroom and on the court, and was an Academic All-State recipient in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Coach Watson says…
“Madi is a vastly underrated libero who is going to impact our program the moment she sets foot in Barnhill. She is competitive, with a work ethic that inspires others. We are looking forward to her playing a large role in the libero position for years to come.”
Elsie Law | MB | 6’2 | Salado, Texas
Elsie Law brings a wealth of club and high school experience to the Hogs. A 6’2 middle from Salado, Texas, Law has been a key piece of Salado High School’s lineup over the last four seasons. She’s led the Eagles to the state semifinals twice, has been named First Team All-District two times, and was the District Blocker of the Year and All-State in 2024. She holds the Salado High School record for most blocks all time with over 350 and tallied over 1,000 kills. Law has been an Under Armour All-American Watch List recipient and camp invitee twice and was also a two-time AVCA and JVA Watch List honoree with Austin Skyline.
Coach Watson says…
“A wonderfully talented middle who is playing with range and a passion for competition. She complements and enhances our returning middles, providing us the depth we need to be competitive for years to come. Fortunate to have her be a Razorback.”
Maggie McCarroll | S | 6’0 | Austin, Texas
Maggie McCarroll, a setter out of Austin, Texas, provides Arkansas with depth in the front court. Also an Austin Skyline player, McCarroll’s club teams have been consistently top five in her career. McCarroll played her first three high school seasons at Regents in Austin. In 2024, she led the team in nearly every statistical category, pushing her to her third straight All-State and All-District honors. This year, she’s playing for Austin High School and is leading the team in assists (603) and aces (76) as the Maroons have compiled a 39-6 record for 2025. AHS has been a top 30 high school program this season and at the top of its district.
Coach Watson says…
“Maggie is an athlete that has a joy for the sport and competition. She is deeply committed to being at Arkansas and has worked hard to get here. A remarkable presence on the court, coupled with a desire to learn. Excited for Maggie to begin her college career in Barnhill.”
Paisley Pavliska | OH | 5’9 | La Vernia, Texas
Paisley Pavliska is a product of La Vernia High School and South Texas Volleyball Academy (STVA). A skilled outside hitter, Pavliska was recently ranked No. 5 in her position in the state of Texas by PrepDig and No. 28 nationally. At La Vernia High School, she has tallied over 2,000 kills in 1,500 digs and has been a three-time all-state player. She has led La Vernia in kills per set over the last two seasons and has helped lead the Bears to undefeated district records. With STVA, Pavliska was part of the national runner-up 16 American team in 2024 and was named to the 2024 AVCA Phenom Watchlist.
Coach Watson says…
“She has had to work hard to get to this point, a fact that makes her one of the best learners in her class. Her effort is contagious. Paisley is going to thrive in the competitive environment of college volleyball.”
