Arkansas Women’s Tennis Falls to LSU

The Razorbacks fall to 10-6 (1-5) on the season after dropping the match against No. 7 LSU.

No. 22 Carolina Gomez and Anet Koskel defeated No. 65 Kenna Erickson and Ella McDonald, 6-3. The Tigers would take the double point though. Jimena Gomez and Brooke Schafer fell to Kayla Cross and Florentine Dekkers, 6-3. Arina Babenko and Alex Panagiotidou fell to Carolina Kuhl and Addison Lanton, 7-5.

LSU took three singles matches to take the match. Alex Panagiotidou fell to Addison Lanton, 6-3, 6-2. Then, Brooke Schafer fell to Ella McDonald, 7-5, 7-5. Finally, Anet Koskel fell to Carolina Kuhl, 6-2, 7-5.

The Razorbacks will be back in action on Sunday when they take on the Ole Miss Rebels at 12:00 p.m. at the Billingsley Tennis Center.
