Arkansas Women’s Tennis Falls to No. 2 Texas A&M

The No. 51 Razorbacks fall to 12-13 (3-12) on the season after dropping their match against No. 2 Texas A&M 21-4 (13-2).

During doubles, No. 23 Carolina Gomez Alonso and Anet Koskel took down No. 14 Mia Kupres and Lucciana Perez, 6-2. Arina Babenko and Brooke Schafer fell to Violeta Martinez and Anna Perelman, 6-4. Jimena Gomez Alonso and Alexandra Panagiotidou fell to Lexington Reed and Daria Smetannikov, 6-2.

During singles No. 34 Carolina Gomez Alonso fell to No. 1 Lucciana Perez, 6-1, 6-4. Brooke Schafer fell to No. 35 Mia Kupres, 6-3, 6-4. Anet Koskel fell to No. 103 Lexington Reed, 6-0, 7-5.

The Hogs will be back in action against UMKC on Monday at 12:00 p.m. at the Billingsley Tennis Center.
