Arkansas Women’s Tennis Falls to Ole Miss

The Razorbacks fall to 10-7 (1-6) on the season after dropping the match against Ole Miss.

The Rebels took the doubles point. No. 22 Carolina Gomez and Anet Koskel fell to No. 85 Andrea Nova and Emily Welker, 6-4. Arina Babenko and Alexandra Pangiotidou fell to Brooklyn Olsen and Beatrice Stagno, 6-3.

During singles, the Hogs picked up a win, but Ole Miss would take the match. Arina Babenko took down Riley Crowder, 6-3, 6-4. No. 23 Carolina Gomez fell to No. 12 Emily Welker, 6-3, 6-2. Brooke Schafer fell to Alice Soulie, 6-1, 6-3. Anet Koskel fell to Brooklyn Olson, 6-2, 7-5, 11-10. Alexandra Panagiotidou fell to Andrea Nova, 6-4, 6-2. Jimena Gomez fell to Ichino Horikawa, 6-4, 6-2, 10-4.

The Razorbacks return to action on Thursday when they travel to Tuscaloosa to take on Alabama at 5:00 p.m.
