Arkansas Women’s Tennis Returns to Fayetteville Before Road Trip to Auburn

The Razorbacks will return to action at the Billingsley Tennis Center for the SEC home opener on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 5:00 p.m. They will then travel to Auburn, Ala. to face the Auburn Tigers and Eastern Kentucky.

The No. 60 ranked Hogs are 8-2 (0-1) on the season and come into this match seeking to win their first SEC match of the season. The Hogs are coming back to Fayetteville after a trip to Norman, Okla. where they went 1-1 on the weekend.

The No. 46 ranked Gators are 5-2 (0-1) on the season and are hitting the road for their first SEC road match of the season. They went 1-1 last weekend, dropping their first SEC match against No. 4 Auburn, 5-2, and then defeating Bethune-Cookman, 7-0.

The No. 13 ranked Tigers are 16-1 (1-0) on the season and will host the Razorbacks for their SEC home opener. Auburn will travel to Norman, Okla. on Thursday to take on the Sooners. The Tigers defeated Florida in their SEC opener last weekend in Gainesville, Fla.

While in Auburn the Hogs will take on Eastern Kentucky, this will be their last non-conference matchup of the season. The Colonels are 6-6 on the season and riding a 4-game win streak. Before the matchup against the Razorbacks, Eastern Kentucky will face SEC foe Mississippi State, and North Alabama.
