Arkansas-USC Game Sold Out
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas’ season-opening game against Southern California on Sept. 2 at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium is officially a sellout it was announced by Arkansas Athletic Director Frank Broyles on Friday.
“We appreciate the great support and enthusiasm of our fans,” Broyles said. “The passion of Razorback fans is at a peak. When passion is intense enough, it compels immediate action. Our fans have passion!”
The game marks the third sellout since Arkansas expanded the stadium to 72,000 in time for the 2001 season. The stadium was also sold out for the 2001 Tennessee game and the 2004 Texas game. This year’s USC game marks the earliest sellout since the stadium expanded.
“We are excited that we will have a full house for our game against USC,” Arkansas head coach Houston Nutt said. “Our fans are always a big factor in any home game. I know that they will be out in full force for our season opener. Our coaches and players truly appreciate the Razorback fans. We are looking forward to running out of the “A” and hearing the cheers of a capacity crowd.”
Single-game tickets are on sale for the remainder of the 2006 Fayetteville schedule with a limited number only for the Alabama and Tennessee games. Two-game ticket packages in Little Rock have also sold out. Single-game tickets for Louisiana-Monroe are still available.
