Arnautova Takes Home SEC Diver of the Week Honors

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Anna Arnautova has earned SEC Women’s Diver of the Week honors for her triumphant performance in the Arkansas Diving Classic. Arnautova won both springboard events posting scores of 330.30 on 1-meter and 342.60 on 3-meter, both NCAA qualifying scores. The freshman diver has been dominant in both springboard events, having posted NCAA qualifying scores at the Stanford and Missouri State meets, among others.

Diving Coach Abel Sanchez commented, “I am really happy for Anna.” The Razorback Diving Team has trained hard all year under Sanchez, and they have competed well with other talented programs as a result of his expert coaching combined with their tireless work ethics. “I couldn’t be more proud of Anna,” remarked Sanchez of her weekend performance.
