
Back at Bogle Park for the Wooo Pig Classic
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – After playing its first 13 games on the road, the Razorback softball team makes its home debut this weekend with the Wooo Pig Classic at Bogle Park. Arkansas is off to the best start in program history with its 12-1 mark. The tournament field also features IUPUI, Lamar and Nebraska with the Razorbacks’ opener set for 3 p.m. (CT) against the Cornhuskers. General admission is free at Bogle Park this season.

Against the Field
Arkansas carries a 4-2 combined record against the Wooo Pig Classic field including a 3-2 mark against Friday’s opening opponent, Nebraska. The teams met last season in Fullerton, Calif., and the Razorbacks came away with the 11-10 victory. Arkansas and Lamar will be playing for the first time.
Last Time Out
Senior Nicole Schroeder hit two home runs including a go-ahead grand slam in the sixth inning in Wednesday’s 7-6 win at Oklahoma State. It was the Razorbacks’ first win in Stillwater since the 2001 season. Tori Cooper also homered in the game while A.J. Belans registered three hits.
Moving On Up
With her two home runs at Oklahoma State, senior Nicole Schroeder moved into third place on the program’s career list and became just the third Razorback to hit 30 home runs in her career. She joins Devon Wallace (2012-15) and Miranda Dixon (2007-10) in Arkansas’ 30-home run club. Schroeder also enters the weekend three RBIs and five hits away from the career century mark in each category.
Flipping the Lineup
From the nine spot, junior Autumn Russell is riding an eight-game hitting streak including a pair of hits in the win at Oklahoma State. She is hitting .455 through the first 13 games of the season with four multi-hit performances. Russell has a hit in 11 of 13 games.
Welcome to Bogle Park
Fans of college softball have spoken and Bogle Park was voted the No. 4 stadium in the poll conducted by FloSoftball, and second among SEC parks trailing only Rhoads Stadium (Alabama). This is the ninth season with Bogle Park as Arkansas’ home field.
