Beitz named to 2019 SEC Soccer Community Service Team
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Razorback goalkeeper Taylor Beitz was named to the 2019 SEC Soccer Community Service Team, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon. It’s the second-straight season the redshirt-junior has been awarded the honor.
Beitz has been a member of various groups on campus, including Sweat-Hogs, Book-Hogs and Reading with the Razorbacks, where she donated clothing and books and read stories to younger children in the area. The Cornwall, Ontario native also visited veterans on Valentine’s Day at the Arkansas Veterans Hospital, and cleaned wheelchairs, gave away hats and conversed with families at Arkansas Children’s Northwest Hospital. Beitz also spent time at the Bentonville Boys and Girls Club earlier this year.
The redshirt-junior is also an executive chair member of the SAAC (student-athlete advisory committee), overseeing the health and wellness portion (HAWG).
