Carolina Gomez Wins Singles Match in the Main Draw of the ITA All-American Championships

Members of the Arkansas women’s tennis team continued competition today at the ITA All-American Championships. They will continue play through the week at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.

In the main draw in the round of 64, No. 78 Carolina Gomez faced No. 83 Esha Velaga from the University of Pennsylvania. Gomez won the match, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.

In the main draw, in the round of 32, Anet Koskel and Gomez took the court against Annabelle Xu and Martina Genis Salas from the University of Virginia in doubles. Koskel and Gomez dropped the match, 4-6, 4-6.

The main draw will continue through Sunday, Sept. 28.
