Celine Simunyu Inks with Razorbacks

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Head coach Tucker Clary has officially announced the signing of Celine Simunyu for the 2025-26 Razorback women’s tennis season.

The right-hander from Ireland joins the Hogs with career-high WTA Rankings of No. 788 in singles and No. 393 in doubles. Simunyu has recorded a combined 173 wins – 85 singles, 88 doubles – in women’s professional events, including 25 singles victories and 37 doubles wins in 2024. Simunyu claimed her ninth ITF doubles title at the W15 Melilla in December, marking her sixth doubles championship of 2024.

During her time competing in ITF Juniors events from 2019-22, Simunyu collected five doubles titles and two singles championships.
