EDINBURGH, Scotland – Arkansas women’s cross country freshman Devin Clark has been selected to represent the US junior national team at the 2016 BUPA Great Edinburgh Cross Country International Challenge on Saturday, January 9.

The Spring Branch, Texas native saw great success in her first season as a Razorback. Opening her college career at the UC Riverside Invitational, Clark finished second overall in the 6K to pace Arkansas to its first team victory of the year. Consistent in her efforts, Clark clocked a 20:07.30 in the 6K at the prestigious Wisconsin Adidas Invitational a few weeks later to earn a spot in the top 10 on Arkansas’ All-Time Best list.

Recognized as one of the most talented newcomers on the collegiate circuit, Clark went on to finish eighth at the 2016 SEC Championships picking up All-SEC honors at her first conference meet. The talented Texan capped her season placing 48th at the 2016 NCAA Championships, eight places shy of All-American honors helping Arkansas finish ninth as a team.
