Hudson Polk

Hudson Polk enters his second season as a student assistant coach for the Arkansas baseball program in 2026.

A former Razorback catcher, Polk played two seasons under head coach Dave Van Horn after transferring to Arkansas from Oklahoma prior to the 2023 season. In his two years as a Hog, Polk hit three home runs and recorded 12 RBI over 35 games.

The Coppell, Texas, native was a two-time SEC Academic Honor Roll selection while at Arkansas, earning a spot on the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll as a junior in 2023 before landing on the Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll as a senior in 2024. Since Polk joined the coaching staff, Arkansas has made one trip to the College World Series (2025).

Prior to coming to Arkansas, Polk appeared in 16 games over two seasons (2021-22) at Oklahoma, swatting one home run and driving in eight runs as a Sooner. As a sophomore during the 2022 campaign, he played in 12 games with six starts at catcher and slashed .313/.522/.563 with two doubles, one triple, five RBI and five runs scored on the year.
