Cota-Yarde Named to SEC Community Service Team

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas goalkeeper Sierra Cota-Yarde was named to the SEC Community Service Team, the league office announced Wednesday.

Cota-Yarde participated in the NWA Children’s Hospital Family Day where she attended a picnic and played games with patients and their families. She also was in attendance for the Tyson Food Truck event where the athletic department partnered with Tyson to give away 40,000 pounds of protein to local nonprofit agencies.

Cota-Yarde and the soccer team also hosted a joint youth clinic with Arkansas State where they engaged with young soccer players the night before the season’s first match.

The Toronto, Ontario native has played in 11 matches for Arkansas and has notched 30 saves on the season.
