Delce Selected in Athletes Unlimited Draft

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Redshirt senior RHP Chenise Delce was one of 14 athletes selected by Athletes Unlimited in Monday night’s draft.

The reigning SEC Pitcher of the Year and NFCA Second Team All-American has pieced together an illustrious career in her two seasons as a Razorback, producing a 39-11 record with 361 strikeouts. This season, Delce (16-5) holds a 1.82 ERA with 173 strikeouts, 16 complete games and five solo shutouts across 157.2 innings pitched. Delce ranks third in the SEC in strikeouts (173) and victories (20) this season.

The Oklahoma City product is the second Razorback softball player hear her name called in an Athletes Unlimited draft. Former Hog and the program’s first two-time All-American, Danielle Gibson, was selected in the 2022 draft.

Delce was also picked No. 9 overall in the Women’s Professional Fastpitch (WPF) draft by the Oklahoma City Spark on April 17.
