Elementary Day Sign Ups Open for November 10 Game

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas women’s basketball head coach Mike Neighbors invites the local area schools to Elementary Field Trip Day set for Friday, Nov. 10. This event gives elementary schools the opportunity to check out the Hogs, as the women’s team is set to face Murray State for a 10:30 a.m. tipoff at Bud Walton Arena.

Last season’s Elementary Day in the 72-34 win over Central Arkansas brought in a 7,410-person crowd, the 15th-best in school history and best crowd for an Elementary Day. It was the first Elementary Day since 2019.

Elementary Day provides free admission for all elementary school students, teachers and faculty. Area schools can use the field trip to encourage and offer a healthy lifestyle through physical activity and provide students with the chance to visit the University of Arkansas and see a women’s basketball game. Elementary schools in attendance will be acknowledged during the game and a fun halftime event will take place. A keepsake poster will be provided for all students in attendance.

Principals and teachers can click HERE to register for the event. More details regarding arrival times, seating arrangements and safety information will be sent out to registrants.
