Evans Named to SEC Community Service Team

For the second consecutive season, Arkansas middle blocker Zoi Evans has been named to the SEC Community Service Team.

Zoi has been a consistent and dedicated student-athlete in all aspects since she’s arrived at Arkansas. She has served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee since she was a freshman and has been in leadership roles in the last two years. After being named the group’s secretary in 2023-24, she has since been elevated to SAAC vice president for this academic year, playing a key role in outreach, meetings, and goals.

In addition to regular meetings, SAAC coordinates community events such as Healthy Hogs and Book Hogs with local elementary schools. Zoi and eight other Arkansas student-athletes took a trip to Nassau, Bahamas in July for a service trip that included volunteering in a local kids’ basketball camp and clean-up of a community park.

As a founding member of the Black Leadership Athletic Committee at Arkansas, she continues to be involved with the organization and has helped grow its influence not only among the volleyball team, but other programs in the department as well.

Zoi had one of her best seasons at Arkansas in 2024, as she led the team in blocks (121) and set a new personal single season high in kills with 115, good for fifth on the team. Her .400 hitting percentage was the best among Arkansas’ starters and is also the fourth-best single season hitting percentage in program history.
