Ferraguti Earns All-American Honorable Mention Honors for 100 Breaststroke

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Razorbacks had a strong showing in today’s NCAA Championship action. The day began with Bella Cothern and Betsy Wizard swimming the 100 Fly. Both had stellar swims with Wizzard shattering her previous personal best by 0.32 seconds, finishing in 52.70. Bella Cothern posted a time of 52.62, coming very close to her own personal best at 52.52.

Alessia Ferraguti took to the pool for the 100 Breaststroke notching a 15th place finish in the prelim with a time of 59.17 and earning herself a spot in the B-Final. She placed 16th in the final, putting the Razorbacks on the scoreboard and earning herself a well-deserved All-American Honorable Mention, marking the second time in as many years that she has earned the honor.

The Razorbacks will be back in action tomorrow morning for the 100 Freestyle, 200 Butterfly, and 200 Breaststroke.
