Final Round at Tiger Invitational Suspended; Resumes Wednesday
OPELIKA, Ala. – The 21st-ranked Arkansas men’s golf program was climbing the leaderboard in the final round of the Tiger Invitational before play was suspended due to inclement weather. The Razorbacks moved up three spots to fifth before lightning suspended play.
The final round of the Tiger Invitational, played at Grand National Lake Course, will resume on Wednesday (Mar. 17) 10 am (CT) in position. The Razorbacks nearly completed their final round, needing 2-5 holes to finish the 54-hole event.
Arkansas started the day in eighth place after playing 36 holes on Monday. Segundo Oliva pinto and William Buhl were leading the charge as each was 2-under par. Tyson Reeder, who is tied for second place, was 1-under par. The graduate senior is tied with three others for second and is just one stroke off the lead.
Host and 16th-ranked Auburn continues to lead the 15-team field, followed by #34 Alabama, #14 Vanderbilt and #24 LSU. The Razorbacks are one stroke behind Vanderbilt and LSU, each tied for third.
Arkansas was 5-under, which tied for the second-best round of the day before play was suspended. Auburn and Mississippi State were 6-under.
