Four Razorback Swimmers Receive Academic All-District Honors

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The College Sports Communicators announced their CSC Academic All-District team for swimming and diving on Tuesday. The list showcased four Razorback swimmers Isabella Cothern, Bradi Jones, Rebecca Simpson, and Sydney Craft.

Arkansas native Bella Cothern received her Academic All-District honors after achieving a 4.0 in Recreation and Sport Management (RESM). Cothern is a three-time SEC Honor Roll participant, a 2022-23 All-SEC Second Team member, and a two-time NCAA Honorable Mention All-American.

Graduate student Bradi Jones continued her academic excellence with a 3.875 cumulative GPA and 4.0 on the semester with the Recreation and Sports Management program. As a four-time SEC Honor Roll member in addition to being a USIA Swimming Scholastic All-American Jones continues to display success.

Senior Rebecca Simpson earned her CSC Academic All-District honors after posting a 3.626 accumulative GPA with a 4.0 on the term. A former SEC Honor Roll member, the dynamic freestyle and backstroke swimmer continues to excel both athletically and academically.

Sydney Craft, a junior nursing student, boasted a 3.921 accumulative GPA with a 4.0 this past semester to earn her way into the Academic All-District team. Craft continued a great campaign as a freestyle and butterfly swimmer in her junior with a season-best 1650 NCAA B-Cut Free at the Iowa Invitational.
