Gamecocks and Gators Up Next for Razorbacks
The No. 10 Hogs continue a big road swing this weekend with a pair at South Carolina and No. 19 Florida on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
After playing most of the first half of their SEC schedule in Fayetteville, Arkansas is road-tested for five straight matches. The Hogs are 1-1 so far into the stretch, with a 3-1 win over No. 12 Tennessee and a 3-2 loss to No. 15 Kentucky.
The Razorbacks maintained their spot in the AVCA top 10 this week and check in at No. 9 in the NCAA RPI. Arkansas is the only team other than No. 1 Nebraska that has not fallen in the coaches poll this year and is second only to Washington State for the highest-climbing team of the season, as the Hogs have risen from No. 25 in the preseason poll to their current position of No. 10 in week nine.
South Carolina is up first for Arkansas, and action begins at 6 p.m. CT from Columbia. The Hogs then travel from the Palmetto State to the Sunshine State for their first of two tilts against Florida this season, in what will be the team’s sixth ranked contest so far. First serve is set for noon on Sunday in Gainesville, and both of the weekend’s matches will be streamed live on SEC Network Plus.
