Griffith, Moehn Voted Team Captains

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – As voted by their teammates, seniors Cameron Griffith and Ethan Moehn will serve as team captains for the 2018 season.

“Both Ethan [Moehn] and Cameron [Griffith] have been successful at the pinnacle of our sport, earning All-American honors throughout their years here at Arkansas,” said head coach Chris Bucknam.

“I think our guys did an awesome job voting these two in as team captains, they both are looked at as leaders for our team and set the tone day in and day out at practice. They’ve been a part of three SEC Champion cross country teams and were members of the back-to-back fifth-place teams at the NCAA cross country championships in ’16 and ’17. They’re an integral part of our team,  are outstanding students, as well as athletes, and I don’t think our team could’ve voted for two better guys,” Bucknam finished.

The Razorbacks have captured three-straight SEC titles, three-straight South Central Regional titles and recorded three top-six finishes, including fifth-place finishes the last two seasons with Griffith and Moehn on the roster.

Co-Captains Griffith and Moehn will step on the course one more time before heading to the SEC Championships in Auburn, Ala. next weekend as the Razorbacks travel to Happy Valley for the Penn State National at the Blue & White Course in University Park, Pa. Fri, Oct. 12.
