Hauser Named to TopDrawerSoccer’s Team of the Week
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Junior midfielder Emilee Hauser was named to TopDrawerSoccer’s Team of the Week, the publication announced Tuesday.
Hauser led Arkansas’ defensive effort in the shutout victories over Western Michigan and Michigan State and played every minute of the Razorbacks’ two matches this week.
Against the Broncos, she assisted in two of the Hogs’ three goals. On Sunday versus the Spartans, she made several key plays to stifle Michigan State’s chances of scoring.
Hauser is the first Arkansas player to be named to the weekly award since Anna Podojil was honored in 2020.
Hauser and the Hogs will be back in action this week and visit No. 6 BYU on Thursday, Sept. 8 and then travel to Grand Canyon on Sunday, Sept. 11. Thursday’s 8 p.m. CT match will be live streamed on BYUtv and Sunday’s match at 8 p.m. CT will be live streamed on ESPN Plus.
