
Higginbottom Accepts Invite to Women's College All-Star Game
FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas’ Izzy Higginbottom will participate in the 2025 Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game on April 5, joining other seniors from across the country in a nationally televised contest on ESPN2. The game will be held at 3 p.m. ET at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa.
The Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game will provide 20 of the country’s brightest stars one final opportunity to represent their programs and be recognized against the backdrop of the sport’s championship weekend. Intersport, an award-winning Chicago-based agency that first launched a national women’s college basketball all-star event alongside the WBCA 25 years ago, will host the event.

Higginbottom proved to be one of the best scorers this season and ranked third nationally with 24.4 points per game, which led the SEC. Compared to the rest, she currently leads the NCAA in total points (780), leads the NCAA in free throws made (242), leads the SEC and ranks ninth in the NCAA in free throw percentage (.906) and ranks third in the SEC and sixth in the NCAA with 251 field goals. Higginbottom scored double figures in 30 of 32 appearances this season and recorded at least 25 points in 17 games including nine in SEC play, the most in the NCAA.
In her final appearance, Higginbottom scored 38 points in the SEC Tournament and surpassed Dungee to become the program’s best scorer in a season with 780 points. She set new Arkansas records in scoring average (24.4), free throws (242) and field goal attempts (578) for a single season. Higginbottom also made her mark in the SEC record book, with single season records in free throws and field goal attempts. Three of her games sit in the top 10 of the highest scoring games in program history: vs. Boston College (38 points), vs. Florida (40 points), vs. Georgia (38 points).
Higginbottom will suit up for either Team Lieberman or Team Miller, which will be coached by Naismith Hall of Famers and basketball legends Nancy Lieberman and Cheryl Miller, respectively. The complete rosters for Team Lieberman and Team Miller will be announced the week of the event, while individual player commitments will be announced on a rolling basis in the coming days.
In addition to the event’s title partner, Eli Lilly and Company, national brands have committed to the Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game, enhancing the player and fan experience. Herbalife, State Farm, Skechers, Under Armour and E*TRADE will be featured throughout the event.
