Consensus No. 1… For Now
The college baseball community agrees that Arkansas is the No. 1 team in the country.

The Razorbacks led all five major polls released Monday, standing tall as the consensus top-ranked team in college baseball. Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, D1Baseball, Perfect Game and USA Today each put Arkansas atop their respective rankings for week nine of the season. The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association did not release an updated poll.

It is the fourth time this season that Arkansas is the consensus No. 1 team as well as the seventh consecutive week that the Hogs are ranked as the top team by at least one of the six polls.

Those Homerin’ Hogs
After swatting four more over the weekend in Oxford, Arkansas remains the nation’s co-leader in home runs.

The Razorbacks have hit 54 homers in 31 games this year, tied for the most in all of college baseball with Old Dominion. The Hogs’ astounding 1.74 homers per game ranks third in the country behind only Northwestern (1.81) and Old Dominion (1.80).
