Hogs Dazzle in Day Two of SEC Championships
AUBURN, Ala. – At the end of day two of SEC Championship action, the Razorbacks currently hold 11th-place, coming on the heels of solid performances by the 200 Free Relay team and seniors Bella Cothern and Adela Vavrinova in the 50 Free and 200 IM, respectively.
In the C-Final of the 200 IM, Adela Vavrinova posted her second NCAA B-Cut time of the day with her first coming in the prelim (1:58.65) that secured her a spot in the C-Final where she posted a 1:59.47.
Bella Cothern was dominant in the prelim of the 50 Free, posting a 22.08 and topping that with a personal-best 22.04 in the Final to cement a 4th-place finish.
The 200 Freestyle Relay team consisting of Cothern, Alessia Ferraguti, Delaney Harrison, and Maddy Hartley posted the 4th-best time in program history in the final, a stellar 1:28.81.
Earlier in the day, Sydney Craft posted a personal-best time of 4:48.10 in the 500 Free prelim, breaking her previous personal-best by three seconds.
