Hogs Earn Preseason Ranking

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- The Arkansas swimming and diving team earned a No. 23 preseason ranking, as announced by CSCAA Wednesday afternoon.

The ranking is the first time the Hogs have cracked the preseason poll under head coach Neil Harper, with the team earning a No. 27 NCAA finish at the end of last season.

“It’s always great to be recognized by our peers,” head coach Neil Harper said. “But we’ve been practicing against each other until now, so we won’t really know where we’re at until we get out there and compete with another team. Georgia has claimed three national titles in the last six years, so this will be an excellent opportunity to see how we stack up against the competition.”

Of the teams in the Top-25, eight are in the SEC. Arkansas will face three teams with preseason rankings.
